On the verge of thirty, David Conners is in a rut.
He’s spent his twenties trying to make it in a band while grinding away at boring nine-to-five job, living paycheck to paycheck.
When band mate/co-worker Jim Curley invites him to come along on the annual summer couples vacation, David has six months to save enough money for trip, get in shape for the beach, and get his band van running again.
Slowly, David starts to dig himself out of the rut he’s firmly planted himself in, just in time to meet Kelly, quite literally the girl next door.
Changes, for better and worse, begin to impact David, making him question the decisions that have led him to this point, what’s going to happen with Kelly, his friends, his job and his band.
