A Life In Finer Clothing

While on a book tour promotion a collection of stories from her Grandmother’s Great Depression-era journals Contstance meets an elderly man named Frank who knew her grandmother.

They enjoy a cup of coffee at a local diner, and Frank fills in missing pieces of stories from the journals to help Constance put the pieces together about the Grandfather she never knew.

Over the course of an afternoon, they share joy and tears as Frank recounts the difficulties of growing during the Great Depression, a tangled-love triangle and the march towards World War II.

In the end, Constance and Frank learn that it’s never too late to meet a stranger.
